I wish Florence would do something like this. From late January to April, the city government of Cagliari in Sardinia is continuing a pilot project called Maternita’ fa rima con ambiguita’, a space for pregnant women and new moms to meet twice a month in a “non-judgmental atmosphere” and

recognize the profound mental, psychological, physical and interpersonal changes a woman goes through when she becomes a mother.

They’re even offering simultaneous childcare for kids two years and up!

Sounds like heaven.
