Judge Margherita Bortolaso ruled that a policeman in Venice should have been granted paternity leave “even though his wife is a housewife” because, she declared, homemakers are "unprotected workers".

This is one reason I wish Andrea didn’t work for himself–Italy really is at the avantgarde with its parental leave policies.
